The Vacuum Tanker is designed to carry non-hazardous sewage and sludges with a specific gravity of 1.00.

Tank

The fixed cylindrical tank is reinforced with external stiffening rings and has a capacity of 4,200 IG, fixed division of 4,000 dirty and 200 clean, which is suitable for the vehicles GVW. Two internal anti-surge baffles prevent the liquid from sloshing. A 500 mm diameter access hole is on the top of the tank.

The tank is constructed from carbon steel with 5 mm walls and 6 mm heads, with a working pressure of -0.9 bar and 1 bar. There is a pressure relief valve on the top of the tank to prevent over-pressurisation.

The rear door is unlocked and opened hydraulically with the near side controls.
4" lever-operated Molex ball valves are used for the rear door inlet and outlet valves.

Vacuum System

The vacuum system is controlled with a Jurop RV360 air-cooled vacuum pump with a capacity of ±360 cubic feet per minute (cfm). A grit strainer protects the pump from debris. Pipework is made of mild steel and rubber hoses. A float ball mechanism is in both the sludge compartment and overspill tank to prevent overfilling.

Jetting System

The jetting system is controlled with a Speck NP25/50-150 high-pressure pump capable of delivering up to 10 gallons per minute at 2,000 psi. A 2.5” layflat hose with hydrant fitting for filling the water compartment, with a storage basket on the nearside. Features like automatic low-water warning and auto-dump circuit prevent damage. An emergency engine stop button is located on the main rear control panel.
