MjM Haulage & Grab Hire Ltd – A new DAF truck to keep Scottish water flowing.

MjM Haulage continues their fleet renewals with a new DAF Grab Loader from Kel-Berg.

Recently Kel-Berg delivered one of its grab loader installations to Glasgow based firm MjM Haulage & Grab Hire Ltd. MjM have been a family owned grab hire business for 10 years and operate out of their Bellshill site with four grab loaders.

MjM operate a DAF only fleet and have had all of their equipment from new, working a planned 3-year replacement program for their trucks. The core business is completing utilities work as a sub-contractor for Scottish water and the gas network.

One of MjM's grabs had come to the end of its tenure and so, in keeping with their renewal program, the company was in the market for another. Their new piece of equipment is a Kel-Berg grab loader installation which is fitted to a DAF FAD CF450 8x4 chassis.

MjM opted for a number of additional extras on their new vehicles, including an air operated locking bar, strobe lights, wacker carrier, 4-way camera and an electric front-to-back sheeting system.
