East Anglia based, Richardson Grab Hire, continue the growth of their company with two new pieces of Kel-Berg equipment.

Richardson Haulage Ltd is an East Anglia based grab hire firm with sites located throughout
the Norfolk & Suffolk area, 2 main sites and 2 depots. The company has been in business since 2005 and remains family owned and operated to this day. Richardson’s core business activities are muckaway and aggregate delivery, however they are also known to complete utility work and grab hire for organisations such as Anglian water.

The company operates a fleet of 18 vehicles that are split between the different jobs currently being serviced. Richardson flys the DAF flag, operating exclusively DAF 8x4’s that are fitted with Kel-Berg grab loader equipment. There are therefore no surprises when we say their new pieces of equipment are another two DAF 8x4 Kel-Berg grab loaders.

These new vehicles are built to Richardson’s regular high specification; electric sheeting
systems, camera and weigh systems, wacker carriers, and a variety of strobes and work lights. They are for Richardson’s continued renewal for their fleet and will be used for either muckaway or aggregate delivery.

However, for Richardson it is not specifically the equipment that keeps bringing them back, but the service they receive which Greg Alexander, transport manager for Richardson, explains: “The equipment is great and it gets the job done, but for us it is the fantastic service we receive ... it’s just easy. When we need another, I call Ronnie and the trucks arrive on time”
